Scope
Campaign Design · Brand Development · Digital & Print · Environmental Graphics · Merchandise · Illustration
-
Ripken Baseball serves players, families, fans, partners, and communities across multiple programs and locations. Each initiative needed its own energy and purpose while remaining connected to the larger Ripken brand.
The challenge was creating flexible, engaging creative that could move seamlessly from a digital ad or brochure to apparel, signage, and full-scale stadium graphics.
-
I developed creative for campaigns, tournaments, events, and affiliated programs, translating established brand standards into a broad range of applications.
My work included digital advertising, social graphics, email, print collateral, merchandise, signage, and environmental graphics, with each piece designed to feel cohesive across channels and formats.
-
I also contributed to identity and illustration projects, including Ripken Select and the Aberdeen Steamed Crabs, developing distinctive visuals that brought additional personality to the broader brand family.
These projects provided opportunities to balance the heritage and recognition of Ripken Baseball with more playful, audience-specific creative.
-
Designing for Ripken meant moving between digital campaigns, merchandise, and large-format stadium graphics. Each application required adjustments to typography, composition, and detail while retaining a recognizable connection to the brand.
I adapted the work to its setting, accounting for viewing distance, legibility, materials, and production requirements—from graphics seen on a phone to signage experienced throughout the ballpark.
-
The work connected how Ripken Baseball promoted its programs with what players, families, and fans encountered at the ballpark. Campaign materials introduced the experience, while merchandise and environmental graphics carried that same identity into the events and spaces themselves.
Across these applications, the result was a coordinated body of work built for practical use—supporting everyday marketing needs alongside the production demands of apparel, print, and stadium signage.
